Social Sharing
Your Cargo site’s admin panel contains a Social Sharing section, where you can enter a Site Preview image and descriptive text.
This image and text will be displayed when your Site is shared on websites and services that support the Open Graph protocol.
Services like Slack and Tumblr use this Social Sharing information to create a preview of your Site when it is shared on their service; Facebook and Twitter offer dedicated tools to preview how your Site will appear when shared on their platforms.
The Social Sharing menu also includes a field for additional meta tags. Third-party integrations like Google’s Search Console will require you to place custom meta tags into this section.
