Add Custom HTML

Each Cargo site contains a Custom HTML Editor where you can add HTML and JavaScript. Access it via the Design tab.

Any HTML entered in Custom HTML will be added globally; applied to every Page of your site. Please note, scripts need to be added using a <script> tag. For example, Google Analytics can be placed into your site with a script tag inside your Custom HTML.

If you’d like to add HTML for a specific page only, open the Code View window via the Formatting Toolbar of that page.

Note: Cargo does not offer support for scripts and elements added through Custom HTML.

If you are looking to add <meta> tags to your site, you can do so in the Social Sharing menu of the Settings tab.
