Verifying with Search Console

To verify your domain with Google, first sign into Search Console with your Google account.

Inside Search Console, add your domain into the Search Console list through the Add a Property button and choose the URL Prefix option. Note: be sure to add the https:// protocol before your domain name.

After continuing, choose HTML Tag in the Other Verification methods list and copy the code provided in the instructions. To add this into the <head> of your site as instructed, you’ll need to input this tag into the “Meta Tags” field inside your Cargo Admin →

→ Social Sharing menu.

Then click Verify in Google’s Search Console to have Google attempt to verify your domain. You may need to wait up to an hour before the domain can be successfully verified.
